First of all, it's a very nice, functional card room. Good dealers, good food, decent atmosphere.
First tip - wear a hit with a brim. The lights in the ceiling are very bright and the hat will help with comfort.
Second tip - they have some nice high hand promotions that require a minimum sized pot to qualify. There's an unwritten rule, that if a player has a high hand, and needs to build the pot, they will say "I need some help". Sometimes the high hand will refund some or all of the "Help".
Also, another unwritten rule, the high hand is expected to not aggressively bet their high hand since they will be making $200-500.
Tip three - traffic is MUCH higher during promo times.
