If you are East of the lake this is a super spot as the next closest is in a pretty sketchy part of Garland. The room is very nice with quality tables and comfortable chairs. The entire staff is super nice and accommodating. The tournaments are very soft and typically only seat 2 tables. The Friday bounty tournament is my favorite. It was probably 8pm before they got a cash game running and only had 1 table of 1/2 NLH going. After the tournament they opened a 2-4 limit holdem game for beginners which was super fun playing with people waiting for a NLH seat.
The other players were super friendly and play was pretty laid back and not as splashy or aggressive as other Texas card rooms. The only thing this place needs is more players. It is the perfect spot for a beginner wanting to try it out.
