In short time, this is or will be one of the top 3-4 rooms on the Strip. The atmosphere is top notch. Some have commented on the noise in the casino but I just don't see how it is much louder than other Strip properties. I played for about six hours and was not bothered by it. The tables are nice, chairs are excellent. I'd like to see more tables for drinks since they do not have cup holders but that is a minor point.
Typical Strip competition. For every decent player there are a couiple donks who think they are good and a couple of outright fish.
I found the dealers to be personable and knowledgeable. It is obvious that they hired experienced dealers who know what they are doing and not a bunch of noobs.
Excellent in every way. When I played the room was pretty full yet there was excellent coverage. Personable, professional women and all very attractive.
The room was run very well, the electronic table management system ensured that empty seats were filled quickly and floor management and staff did a great job to keep everyone focused on their games and not worrying about things like getting chips, racks, drinks, etc...
I didn't ask and don't know but I'm told it is a $1/hr comp which is standard. The downside of this for Aria is that everything is so expensive that even getting a burger means you need to put in some serious time. It may be worth it to find out if comps earned at Aria's room can be used if you are playing in another MGM room.
