Even though the room has been expanded at Bellagio, the number of tables that have filled the space is too much. The chairs do not have casters on them so getting comfortable at a table is tough. Getting a side table in behind your chair is an impossibility.
Bobby's Room...the private salon was not being used and occupied a sixth of the room. Nice for the high enders, but the poker proletariat feels like they they are sometimes working in the salt mines.
Pretty much standard for midweek. The eclipse of the 1-5 spread 7CS game has chased out many of the old timers that used to come here and that I would see on multiple trips. Super rocks, all. They all must have gone over to the Orleans. Played 4-8 mostly.
Pacing between dealers was quite varied. Hong Kong "Joe" was lightning fast and kept the game going strong. Kudos to him. He is an asset to the Bellagio Poker Room.
Due to the cramped conditions, getting a drink was a challenge at times. Otherwise, good. Their strawberry julius is great!
Again, due to the cramped conditions and the general hectic atmosphere up front at the host's counter, I was directed to go buy my checks at the cage in back. No offer to be seated and have a runner get checks. The new plasma monitors out front could be used better. Wynn has a poker queueing system that shows you exactly where you are on the list.
Bellagio is not keeping pace with technology
