Played here for a couple hours and was angleshot out of a $100 river bet where a player grabbed chips, moved them forward across the betting line and set them down, but did not release them.
The floor explained to me that neither chips' forward motion nor passing the betting line on the table constituted a call; a call required that a player move his chips forward and then release them from his hand. This unique, nonstandard rule encourages angle shooting among the regulars who understand it and how it differs from nearly every other poker room in the country and is an indictment of the room's poor management.
Otherwise, 1/2 PLO action was decent, 1/2 NL wasn't. They run 2-2 and 2-4 limit games which are just rake vortexes ($5+2 rake, standard for South Florida) as well. Dealers were decent and the waitresses did a good job.
