If you have an appreciation for a history of the game, this room should be on your list. When my son and I played there recently we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Of course there is a lot of history displayed on the walls but there is also a staff that is trying very hard to make the place click and they are getting it right. We played in a $10k guarantee tournament and it ran like a top. The last table was played on the same table where the finals of the WSOP used to be played. The competition was average to good with a few very good players mixed in. We also played in a few limit games and found them to be very playable. No ringers around that we could see. I understand that there are locals that hang around the $1-2 no limit game that are looking for a meal, but that's not unusual. All in all it's a pleasant place to play.
