This is not a poker room - it's a poker supermarket or poker mall. Extremely large spaces, not broken up with rails or other features. No artwork on any walls except the entry hallway. Doesn't matter though, because from most tables you can't see the walls anyway, they're so far away. Beige, beige and beige color scheme. Plasma TVs are plentiful and far too small for the scale of this mammoth room.
A light load at 3 PM on Monday December 26, five days in to the room's life. A mix of locals and some sweet college kids that loved to chase.
Dealers are slooooowwww, but friendly. One dealer had an issue in our $6/12 game because Ceasars is using $2 chips and he got thoroughly confused. Luckily the table was there to help him out.
15-20 minutes for service on drinks. One player asked for a larger straw for his Strawberry Daq/Julius/Thing; the server apologized but 15 minutes later showed up with a larger straw! Nice touch.
PA system not working, and believe me, at this poker warehouse, shouting about open seats and tables is NOT going to work. A single PA mike was working; the manager would announce an upcoming tournament, then SCRATCH/squawk/schizzle/GLORP to turn the mike off. Quite annoying.
The eating of any food at the tables may be good if you're hungry, but bad if you're not and someone else is. Some of the smells could be quite overpowering.
