I played 1100 plo championship last night at Champions. My friend and I happened to be seated at same table where he folded a hand against me and showed the table, 1 player at the table immediately accused us of cheating and called the floor and it was obvious that they knew each other, the floor decided to give my friend 2 round penalty, during the whole process my friend was quiet and didn’t say a word because English is not his native language and he has difficulty explaining himself. He didn’t try to fight either but he did what they asked him to do but then they called security on him for no reason!!! All of this just because a regular tournament player accused us of cheating and he talked loudly. And it’s not over yet, after they pulled my friend aside, the hostile regular started nonstop pointing at me and yelling: you are cheating!! You guys are cheating!!! This went on for 20 minutes until I busted from the tournament. I tried to talk back but I’m not good at arguing so I felt helpless. The floor was right there he heard everything but he didn’t take any actions to stop the regular. Even the players from other table tried to tell the regular to calm down but he kept yelling at pointing at me. I got very scared and I cried and soon after I bubbled from the tournament. I tried to talk to floor afterwards and he said that there’s nothing he can do. I’ve been playing poker in Houston for 4 years I played at all the clubs and I have never been treated like this before. The floor was disrespectful and I believe he treated players unfairly. The floor acted like he couldn’t care less. I was also invited to play the plo stream next Thursday at Champions but last night’s experience made me never want to come back to Champions.
