I was at Desert Bluffs for one of their new opening days recently for my final attempt at giving this place a shot and I think it might be my last. The dealers for the most part are average plus. There looks to be some new faces and they do well. The food is not touted as something amazing, so I give them credit for not hyping it up beyond what is it. I don't drink often, but the bar staff seems to be uneducated in poker and how to approach people at the table.
All of these problems could be solved with management.
The owner, Chris, is abrasive and aggressive. He has the energy of a puppy who cant handle being over stimulated. I was talking to the front desk about current promotions and he jumped into the conversation and would not give us either a moment to breathe. At the table a few other players mentioned this as well. I've also been at the table playing with Chris a few times. Two points of frustration there. One, his attitude at the table is below par for an owner. The way he talks to players and things he says are in poor taste. Second point, is he will sit there and play while the staff is overwhelmed, and when its finally pointed out to him, he will leave the table short handed and players frustrated. I've played there now for almost a month, and things are not getting better.

Appreciate all feedback, even when it’s not 100% positive. When players aren’t enjoying themselves it’s something we want to know about so that we can work to improve.
That's what we'll keep doing. We are the busiest room in the Tri-Cities and there is—as you noticed—a ton of stuff to manage. We are starting month 3 of our operation and we will be excellent by November
