Well what can you say about this beautiful property and poker room. It is a massive improvement from all other area rooms, to say the least. I was a little surprised to see that they offer some games that really are not blind structured correctly. 4/8 and 8/16 O8B - why not 5/10? Spread that and you'll probably get all the players who are signing up for 4/8 and 8/16 but never getting in action because those games seldom go off. Gotta get rid of that 1/2 kill on 4/8 O8B too. That's a gimmick! Same for Stud 6/12. A 5/10 game is probably best here as well. Hopefully the staff experiment with this a bit. Kudos on adding 2/2 PLO8 to the menu - one of the "games of the future" along with PLO.
See a lot of comments on the dealers here. There isn't a ready made pool of casino employees in MA that Encore can snag from their competitors as happens when a new room opens in Vegas. Just a little time for all to get some experience and that should work itself out. There really is no excuse however for poor beverage service so that's an ongoing issue.
