This place is horrible. I live in Boston 12 minutes from my door to Encore. They treat poker players regs a lot different than visiting players. The dealer talk down to players and offer their opinion in demeaning ways. Comps are at lowest possible and you can't use them nearly anywhere for that fact that a person in a hoodie doesn't belong in a CLASSY (but not really) resturant. Many hours DO MOT END UP ON RED CARDS even at the $1hrly comp rate. Food is not good, drinks are watered down severely and even coffee is absolutely horrid. Time to even request a drink and getting it is approx 3 hours from request to receipt then you are not going to see waitress for 2+hours. This is NOT GOING TO LAST! There is no way this poker room or casino survives. But poker players are loyal and would and will sit through a lot of bs. I think that they know that and definately take advantage of that. So sad that a casino would not provide better takes and service for customers who will literally sit there 40/60 hours week for years for the love of the game they are providing. Ssuuucccckkkkksss because I was so excited from my trips to Vegas and watching Boski videos when they were opening Encore here. Its 2.25 hours to Foxwoods and I sometimes take that trip instead of 12/14 minute drive to be in irritated mood for 7-10 hours. Not really that long when you can listen and study (as passenger lol) poker GTO and other applicable strategies for your game. Even the arrests and atmosphere gets a little shady in several instances in a place that's been open less than 9 months. But the 1/3 game is very beatable though $300max is quite a damper on the action. 2/5 is definitely solid players not soft by any means. So I will keep grinding but will not give anything more than 1 chip in anything Encore offers. Except for management. Players would be the only 5 stars I would give for putting up with the BS.
