This is the honest truth, if you play 5/10 PLO, 5/10 NLHE, 20/40 Omaha Hi, or maybe even 2-5 NL on some days, the action is good, you can play a 4-5 hour session and beat the $20 rake because the games are deep enough and the average pots are reasonably sized.
If you log several hours playing 2/5 or 1-3 with small
Average pots, you're just donating all the money to the casino, because the rake is taking all the chips off the table, there are no chips coming on the table.
There are some whales in the bigger games.
Dealers are bad. Service is bad. Nothing is free. Supervisors are atrocious and make poor decisions when opening tables, they don't manage table changes properly. Sometimes the players run the game and just sneak players in, nobody says or does anything. But usually those are whales so it makes sense lol
