I played about 15 hours over a weekend in January. Players are very reg heavy, but typical 1/2 regs and the games were softer than I typically experience across the street at Borgata. Definitely ran into some players engaging in really bad etiquette with little to no resource from management/ floor. The dealers were doing their best (shout out to Giuseppe, Kellianne) to keep the games moving despite drunk and unhinged players with zero support from floor. In fact, when a dealer finally shut down a belligerent player's action, the floor delivered a sympathetic "aw, what happened?". Like you haven't heard this guy verbally assault and threaten this tourist for the last 30 minutes? Any model that favors the regs over the tourists is sure to fail, or at least to ensure this place will not fill more than 1/3 its capacity. Also, JFC get a call in list! If the regs weren't so reliably bad I would have been happy to play across the street. Some of the table felt is too hard to peel cards and are taped to the rail with peeling scotch tape to prevent cards from sliding under. Felt is also pretty dirty. Definitely needs some more upkeep. Here's a tip: if you're playing poker and have a choice, request the Coastal tower. The rooms are meh but they are very close to poker room.
