Poker room continues to improve whether for good (player demand), bad (tables breaking down) or other reasons the room has added more live tables (mostly 1-2 -- previously only video at that level) and both dealers and floor continue to gain experience. Have also lightened up on strict and crazy rules previously prohibiting all electronic devices from tables. Interestingly the dealers seem better than most of the floors whose rulings are often inconsistent and even sometimes bizarre. Had ruling go against me in huge pot as Floor agreed I was right but gave other player a warning instead of mucking his cards as clearly the posted rules stated (and floor and dealer agreed the posted rules stated). Completely removed from rest of one of the smokier casinos in the country and conveniently located right next to Brio restaurant -- no delivery but a 1 minute walk and they'll call poker room when food ready. No free drinks per NC law. Rake is crazy high reflecting them being only game in town. No promos other than comps which personally I like. The 4 rating may be a bit charitable but 2 years ago I would have given them a solid 2 so they're on the right track. Players a mixed bag of locals and people who drive from TN, NC, SC or Georgia Some pros but not as many as places like LA or Vegas. But some very solid players. Daily tournaments only on the increasingly unreliable video tables - the way things are going expect that will change at some point. Again, definitely trending up.
