This is the hippest room on the strip. The noise, the marble, the tableside massage, every aspect of this room screams of the new poker craze. Unlike others, I lover the occasional thumping of music from Centrifuge, it adds to my excitement.
The only drawback was that 4/8 was the highest limit available, even on Friday night. 2-5 and 5-5 NL was spread, but middle limit hold'em is dying (I'm afraid).
If the cards dry up on you, I HIGHLY recommend a 15 minute chair massage. It made it easier to fold my bad hands, and was a great relaxation in the midst of the frenzy of sights and sounds.
Yes, the players are easy to beat, HOWEVER, there remains 2-3 players per table that will call with any 2 cards. One woman I played with for 4 hours consistently hit her runner-runner straights and flushes. Not lamenting my bad beat, but the last hand I played was AQs, with a board of A7294 she beat me on the river with 3-5 when I raised every round. This was par for the course.
No misdeals, no misreads, no problems. They all had a good sense of humor, were having fun, but not too much fun or too much conversation.
Wasn't drinking much, but a few times I had to crane my neck or ask the dealer for a waitress. Visually they were ok.
They took their time dealing with a woman that was obviously drunk, obviously couldn't stack her chips, and because she was "from California" had a hard time censoring her language in the face of several warnings and complaints from the table.
Good drink offering (red bull, top shelf liquor) and 1$ / hour. Dealers and management should do a better job of reminding people to swipe cards.
