You get a good vibe when you sit down at the MGM Grand Poker room. Tables are spaced out nicely so even if people are sitting behind a player and watching, there is still plenty of room to walk between tables. Chairs are comfortable to sit into when logging hours and the tables are in good shape with auto-shufflers. Not too crazy about the marble around the edges, but it doesn't effect anything really.
I played 1-2 NL mostly and you see a mixed bag at that game. A few good players but mostly tourists and college kids that think they are the next coming of Phil Ivey that play too many hands and try to act like they are tough when all you have to do is sit and wait them out and watch them push all their chips to everyone else.
Dealers are solid. Friendly and quick, a misdeal here and there but its going to happen sooner or later and as long as it doesn't really affect the pace of the game, i don't mind. Most of them will chat and joke with you, which i like in a dealer
The times i've been there, they are usually pretty hot and quick with the drinks. Usually don't have to wait long for a drink but i haven't yet played when the place is completely jammed so i don't know how good it is then.
No complaints about management, the list is well managed and they open new games when the list gets up there. Help you get chips and your seat all in one and i've never had a problem with them.
One dollar an hour for players card which is pretty standard around here and i like that they don't offer all those bad beat jackpots. Don't need the pot raked more and people chasing jackpots with horrible hands.
