Today i tried my luck at my first Texas Hold'em. I really had no idea how many rules their were until I started folding out of turn etc. The dealers were very helpful and very pleasant.
Some of the players were a little up tight about my weak playing especially when I won a few big hands. The player to the right of me was very new to the game and he was given a time out period. I thought it was a joke until he got up from the table and went to "the time out room." (thought this was just for our grand children)
Things got a little more out of hand as the stakes grew higher and higher. It seemed like a few of the players were acting like they were given $65.00 by their wives and were told no to lose.
An other guy kept calling for more rulings from the staff boss .... he should have gone home to take another snoose . Any way nice place, great staff and fun time.
I wanted to tell the guy next to me that the little shake in my hand
was not from his bold behavior but rather from Parkinsons. When I left the table I was going to give him some NFL football tickets or I was going to see if he needed some extra cash for milk and bread, but that didn't work out.
