It's ok, not great. Room is smallish and feels cramped when playing. Tables are in very good shape, chairs are horrible. Food and service are decent. Dealers are average overall. Some are good, Some are inept and some just dont give a @#$%. Cash games are full of either nits or donks, as it is mostly the OMC / OWC crowd. Many carnival games, with no shortage of suckers playing them. Worst of all is the tournament scene. Lots of women playing that have no clue about tournament poker. There are a couple of decent tournaments, but some have >30% rake, with some as high as 42% for 70BB 's and 15 min levels, which in my opinion, are not worth playing. They do use a small blind ante amount instead of the big blind amount, which is unusual but nice. Floor staff is inconsistent between shifts and usually will side with the regs on disputes.
I've seen regs, who weren't in the hand, tell the floor what call to make..not good..
No comps, no bad beat jackpot, no free coffee, water, or sodas.
Oxford has a somewhat captive audience, so they don't have to try to hard to take care of their customer base.
