It was my first time at Parq this week and I really enjoyed the poker room. The Casino itself is beautiful and I really like playing poker in a room thats bright and not dingy. The housemen were great - really friendly, very professional and good at their job. I'd say 80% of the dealers were excellent as well, with a few that were bad (not the worst i've seen) and some that were just ok. The servers were also pretty good overall and very attentive for a poker room. The two restaurants serving food were nothing special but the asian menu was at least reasonably priced. I'd have to say though overall it was the housemen - particularly Reagan and Valentino - that really made my experience great. As a first time visitor staying in town for a week, they made me feel like I had been coming there for years. Both of them went out of their way to learn my name and make sure I was accommodated especially during long sessions. That kind of behavior builds loyalty from players and these two guys really understand that. I'll definitely make this a regular stop when I;m in Vancouver
