Freeroll drama

I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel I need to share my repeated negative experiences with one particular pit boss, Sean McLeod.
During a recent large tournament, my fiancée was once again told by Sean to “keep it down” while playing. She is a bubbly, energetic player who enjoys the game and brings life to the table. Most players enjoy her company, though there are a couple who do not. In fact, one player even stood up and screamed at her, yet instead of addressing that inappropriate behavior, Sean directed his comments at my fiancée. This has become a pattern.
This isn’t an isolated situation. A few weeks ago there was an incident involving something as small as pizza, and again, Sean made my fiancée feel singled out. When she later returned to play, Sean began her session by telling her how upset he was about a review she had written, and that it had been “bothering him all week.” That immediately ruined her evening before she had even started playing.
What makes this more disappointing is that the other pit boss, Matt, is the complete opposite. He is professional, approachable, and goes out of his way to make sure players feel welcome. The contrast between the two could not be clearer.

At this point, I’ve had enough of Sean's behavior. A pit boss’s role is to ensure the game runs fairly, smoothly, and without bias. Instead, Sean seems to focus his attention on targeting certain players while ignoring more disruptive behavior. That is not the kind of professionalism I expect from a poker room.

Players deserve to feel welcome, respected, and treated fairly.
