Different than WSOP

Finally got the chance to play at the Rio when the WSOP wasn't going on. Got the feeling there were a lot of tourists playing there are well. Many people told me there are other rooms I should check out if I really want to get serious. The competition was good and the tourneys were well-run but I didn't think the value of the dailys was as good as some other LV rooms.

The room itself is ok. It's kind of odd but the poker room seems like it just got shoved in by the sports book. It's a nice looking room but I didn't like the location/set up that much.

The staff was very good. Dealers and hosts treated me well. And the game selection was good - they spread a ton of different games which is nice. Certainly can't complain about those games.

The food situation is a little rough. Really thought that the prices could have been a little better and the lower priced places aren't that close to the room. There is a Burger King but it's way in the court area with the shops so not an easy trip over and back.

Overall, it's an ok experience but it could have been better. It's fairly average for what else is offered in Vegas.
