Okay, so story time.
I wanted to play poker yesterday. TCH LC is literally a 12 minute Uber ride from my house. So, fuckitall and head up about 9pm.
Give or take 10:30 comes around, and I'm ONLY 20 people away from the 1/2 list, 10 away from the 2/2 PLO, and there was zero light in the tunnel for the 2/5 list. I gave up, and TCH Dallas is again about 5 mins, sooo off I go.
Another 45 mins and no seat.
More Uber, and I'm at Shuffle. I got an immediate table, and proceeded to have an absolute blast playing 1/2/25 shove it in your face poker.
Yeah, sure. I used to work there. But, after playing in casinos all over the country for the last 2 months? Shuffle dealers are beyond reproach, while still feeling like I'm at Cheers.
