I've enjoyed playing at the barrel recently. I've played several times - about once a week. I appreciate their friendliness and the willingness to know what players want.
I have one comment to make about re-buys. I usually buy in for $200 to start (although I have also bought in for $100). I was surprised about a week ago to learn that I can add on $100 to my stack if I get low but I have to re-buy with $200 if I bust out. I don't always want to risk an extra $100 so this feels like somewhat of a cooler for me. If a 1-2 game was available, I'd just do that, but I don't ever remember seeing a 1-2 game.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience- we're glad you're enjoying your time at The Barrel and appreciate your kind words about our team. Your feedback about the re-buy structure is valuable, and we understand how the $200 minimum re-buy can feel limiting in certain situations. We've structured it this way to maintain the integreity and competitiveness of the game, but we're always open to hearing from our players a we continue to fine-tune the room.
We're monitoring the demand for 1/2 currently. There is frequently a list for it, but it doesn't seem to get going with the timing of when each of those players come in, and whether they choose to wait for 1/2 or not. We're considering scheduling a 1/2 game and would love to see you at it!
