This place is consistently proving to me that it is the only place to play in the area.
What makes The Barrel special is their ability to communicate with their players and genuinely attempt to optimize for player preference and experience. From facility upgrades like chips & chairs to cash game and tournament structure; it's abundantly clear that the folks at The Barrel are dedicated to constant/continuous improvement.
Props to management for the recent $1/$3 changes. At first, the changes didn't necessarily suit my preferences for $1/$3. But they did the right thing and asked for feedback. Then made adjustments to that feedback.
Couple this with the great personalities of the dealers and other staff along with a lax home-game type culture at the table and you have something special. I have no need to go anywhere else for Poker other than The Barrel. Keep it up!
