Where to begin? There was a guy slumped on an empty table, puking his guts out. One of the floor people (Eric) laughed about it. When it's cold outside, one side of the room is broiling, because the other side near some exterior doors gets cold. They only have one zone for the poker room. There are only 2 restrooms in the entire Venetian. When I was in town, one restroom was closed (apparently for weeks). The open one is a long walk from the poker room. It was a weekend, it was between shows (concert), with thousands of people either leaving or going to the show. Let's just say the potty line was LONG. Oh yeah, the escalator is also broken, so you get to walk down 3 flights of stairs. Apparently that is been broken for longer than the bathroom has been closed. Too many issues with this place to want to visit again.
Lots of local grinders who know each other. Some team play goes on. Usually enough choices of games and tables to avoid this.
For the most part the dealers are professional, and on top of their game. Although I did see one dealer let a drunk sit and play with another persons chips while they were away. Same dealer the whole time this happened, so he should have been more observant. But overall, they're friendly in a professional manner.
The drinks are good, and the selection is great. But the cocktail waitresses have a real b-i-t-c-h-y attitude. Sometimes some tables have service every five minutes, while other tables wait 30+ minutes for someone to stop by.
I can only remember one person's name, Eric. He was a joke. Rude, arrogant. He lets locals leave a short table to jump over to a fuller table. When we complained, we were told that he'd "get us some players". DUH? We had "Players", they're at the other table now. He also came by to comment on my long absence during the bathroom fiasco mentioned above. Excuse me? I was absent maybe 30 minutes, well within their "walking" limit. He alone is enough to make me want to avoid that place on my next trip.
didn't use them....and with this experience, won't be returning.
