I refuse to play at Encore Boston and the reasons are simple…the rake is $12 per hand which is double what Encore Vegas charges and is 10x bigger and has nicer ammenities…this new project across the street will not change anything as far as rake per hand goes, might even go higher…
I play at Mohegan Sun Casino which has half the rake and twice the action, 1-2 tables are full of action on Friday & Saturday nights and can get special poker rates for hotel rooms…food is reasonably priced and the comps are better too. For the rake you pay at EBH you can have a whole weekend out at Mohegan Sun!!! You're already winning!
