I've never written a 1 star review and I've been in some real scummy sht holes before.
The main reason for the review was my first hand at the uncapped. I raised pre EP with 2 callers. Cbet the flop and got raised by SB and cold called by BB, so I mucked. No big deal.
Blinds then made a gesture to each other to check down to river which they did, and BB checks back river with trips on a dry board.
After the showdown I looked at a couple other players, one of them laughed and the other shrugged their shoulders.
Dealer just make a joke about not being too careful to the BB, so I just racked up and left.
Look, I don't care if it's 1pm on a Monday at local 1/2 game and a couple old man coffee friends check down a few streets to control the pot, but at the highest stake games with legit poker players, you can't pull that stuff.
FWIW this isn't a sore loser rant. I bought in for $500 and lost $40 total after playing only 1 hand. I'm just @#$% I drove all that way and had to leave because of this unbeatable situation.
