Very close to a few bars, noisy at night, but also attracts many players.
There were up to 12 1-2NL going at once on the weekend. Some tables were filled with tourists/beginners, while others were stacked with locals and/or skilled players. Generally it wasn't difficult to find a good game.
Dealers were experienced, but most lacked personality.
Service was hit and miss.... There were times when we waited over 30 minutes for a drink, but overall it was OK.
The room is well organized, but as I have mentioned here before (2006), it seems like the players are not the priority here. Rarely was I greeted when I registered for a game. There were many times when other issues seemed to take priority over acknowledging the waiting players.
$1 an hour for play. It adds up after a week.
