The Brook is a poker room which is basically a home game for all the degen regs who basically team up against any unsuspecting person who comes in to play some poker … There is always some sort of argument with players threatening each other to “go outside” and fight in the parking lot. The floor staff tries to keep it under control but never kicks them out. They just threatened each other and it’s okay apparently to let them keep playing. I got a general bad vibe from this place and will not return. I have played all over the country and this poker room is just a typical locals only home game in the basement kind of place which players only turn up on $1000 high hand day and literally ALL stand up the minute it is over at 7pm. If you like playing late, good luck, you will be playing at one or two tables short handed most of the night until closing at 1:15am.
All and all, not impressed, got a weird hateful vibe from this place. Will not be back … I’ll keep my money for yearly trips to Vegas during the WSOP. Good luck with your limited degen reg money pool! Don’t beat each other up too much in the “parking lot”! LOL
