Well-run room, business is back

This is by far the nicest small room in town. This is actually a room with 3 1/2 walls and set away from the main casino (bad for action but good for quiet and limit smoke). Lots of beginners having fun.

The competition had gotten tougher here as lots of locals and AVPs showed up to play the fish, especially in the Head Hunters but this has reversed. Saw some terrible plays.

Some of the better dealers have moved on but this is still a solid staff. Also one of the most personable staff while technically solid. Didn't see any mistakes in the time I played.

Brought drinks quickly. Usually had an extra water on their tray for anyone who asked.

Reducing tournament buy in has helped bring back some of the players. Getting rid of Head Hunters is a loss (though I understand the logic). Always willing to listen. Was quick and polite about making a new TI players card. Would have liked them to explicitly check my hours and tell me if I was entitled to a partial wheel spin. I may have missed out on $20-30. Management is really committed to keeping this room busy.

Still $2/hr comps better than everyone else. I don't like the jackpot drop but it brings in tourists looking at the HHJ. Hard to not get excited about a 5K Royal.
