The room is nice, the tables dont have a cup holders
It was my first time at the Wynn. I had 3 winning sessions (2 at Venetian 1 at Mandalay Bay) before coming here. I played the 1/3 NLHE game. The biggest mistake I made was just to buy in for $200 which is the max buy in at the Venetian and Mandalay Bay for the 1/2 NL. I was immediately put under pressure by many local sharks at the table. One of them was raising pre-flop without even looking at the cards. He was even lucky and was winning many hands with garbage hands against strong hands. They were bullying me with their large stacks to the point where I had to throw away what could be the best hand just because I did not want to risk all my chips in one hand. The 9 handed table was 6:3 locals VS visitors. There were even off duty dealers playing with us. When the table got short handed even two managers sat down just to keep the table running. Anyway, lesson learned. If you are looking for a friendly low limit NL game this isn’t place for you. If you decide to give it a shot make sure to get enough chips (at least $500)
The dealers were just OK, once we had 3 different dealers within 5 minutes. One of the dealers was rushing us even putting clock on us when a player took more then 30 seconds to make decision.
Good looking but never around when needed them. The bottled water is tiny too. Once I even decided to go buy a hot tea to the near by Café just because I was cold and there was no cocktail waiter around.
Had two of them playing at our table while short handed. They were OK
No comps offered to me. No one asked if I have a players card or so.
