I found this room to be one of the nicest I saw in Las Vegas. The chairs are exceedingly comfortable, the room is very nice, and the people who run the room are excellent. I played here for seven hours and was impressed the entire time.
I know a lot of people have talked about really tough competition at the Wynn. The people here are better than at many other rooms in vegas, but I did not really run into any players or groups of players that I felt was particularly tough. I played both 1/3 no limit and 2/5 no limit, and in both cases they were standard tables with 3-5 decent-good players and 3-5 casual or novice players.
The dealers here were excellent. They had a great knowledge of the game and even on a rough day (they had two pushes missed within two hours) they were very kind.
The waitresses here are very gorgeous and very nice. The only problem is that sometimes they can take a long time to get drinks because there are only one or two waitresses for the entire room. Overall, the service for drinks was great though.
I have heard lots of good things about the management, but on this particular day, things seemed out of order. I was playing on a sunday, and a lot of the dealers said that the room was normally understaffed on sundays and that it always created a lot of problems. It took almost a half an hour to get a setup change on our table after one of the cards got bent, which seemed a bit ridiculous. Overall, however, the management was nice, I think they were just busy and short staffed on the day I was there.
Comps are pretty par for the course from what I could tell. I do like the red card at the wynn for comps overall, but the poker comps were nothing particularly special.
