The recent changes in the poker room are a slap in the face. The tournament structures were never perfect, but they were reasonable. Due to the fact that there is no competition in Cleveland the rake with regards to tournament play has always been higher than the average nationally. However, there was an attempt to be fair considering the circumstances. The new poker manager has changed the structures as to really screw the tournament player. He has raised the rake and changed the structures of the majority of the tournament to reward poor play and get more people to the cash tables as fast as possible. Take a look at how much the poker room keeps on a typical tournament. Its at least a full 10% higher than the average. My dollars are going elsewhere.
