This is an understated yet classy room, lacking the ambiance of the Bellagio but on the same level of quality. It gets a little loud when the noise from the sportsbook and restaurant starts to spill over, but not to an annoying extent.
The 3/6 game during the day was pretty tight, then loosened up throughout the evening. Not a lot of inexperienced players, even among the tourists. A lot of old local rocks were in the game early on, and many hands didn't get past the flop. I didn't play anything other than 3/6.
I had no real problems with any of the dealers. One recognized my hometown and struck up a conversation with me (he'd dated a woman from my area some time ago) without slowing the game. In the late hours of my session, though, I had confrontations with two back-to-back. The first called a string-raise on me on a river bet. I protested loudly (I wasn't going to call the floor for $6, but it's not like I've never played live poker before) and she got very rude. The next dealer, an old guy, sat down and immediately started yelling at me for placing my folded cards and chips in play too far from his reach. If I was doing such a thing, none of the other dealers had complained. The next 2 hands, I forgot and dropped the chips/cards in the same spot, and each time he stopped the game to yell at me some more. Finally, I folded and tossed my cards at the middle of the table (I was in the 3 seat), and one caught an edge and ended up in his tray. He glared at me and told me that was unnecessary. I told him it was an accident and he repeated his comment. Perhaps the previous dealer warned him that I was trouble. I don't know, but both situations could have been handled differently.
Waitresses ranged from decent-looking to attractive, and service was fast enough. I had no complaints with the quality of any drinks.
I was greeted politely by the floorman and seated quickly. I tipped him a buck for bringing my rack. If this wasn't enough, he didn't act like it. The room doesn't have a board, but new games and sit-and-gos were announced loudly.
