Not big, tables were cramped. It was a new "room" although it did not keep the casino noise away. Small square footage.
For a $25 dollar tournament, it was tough. Had a couple off hours dealers playing. Two extremely unpopular wannabe pro's who were clearly teamed up made the morning unenjoyable most most til they were kicked out. Luckily I had a hand in both, which put me into the good light of the rest of the players. 4 very talented players made the final table. The eventual winner forced a bad laydown on me early on in the tourney. I was down to 375 in chips at one point, but able to battle back to take 3rd. Final 3 of us went all in at the same time, and winner knocked out myself and 2nd place on one hand. KK can do that! But being able to battle back after beig down low made my day. Tough for the money I say.
Except for one dealer we got at the final table...only one word comes to mind.... T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E!!! Misdeals, flipped over one of my aces (would have had two). One dealer awarded a side pot to one player when in reality the pot was to be split (two pair with ace kicker). Manager was called over and pot split, but it had already been combined with the original stack of one player, causing him to lose a large amount of chips. Another dealer mucked a players hand before he could sit down after being moved to fill a table. They need to learn more.
Bland, and like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow...hard to find. Only came once until I reached the final table.
Kind of hard to judge, the management seemed fair, and enforced the rules. Tournament was run efficient. However, with all the dealer mess ups, They had their hands full. For that, they get an average mark. Better dealers would help them out and save them headaches.
Did not look at them. Was not staying there, and only came to play the tournament. Nobody mentioned one thing, good or bad.
