Just played a few tournaments at the Mirage's new poker room and thought I'd review it: the players? The usual. Old, young, local, tourists, American, international- Germans this time for some reason. Sometimes they are all Aussies, sometimes UK. The new poker room itself is great, the old one was 30? Years old. It is now an actual room, whereas before it was more of an "area", in fact, the Mirage has done the reverse of what Caesars Palace did, Caesars's new poker room is an "area", whereas their old one was a "room". It looks a little less fancy, because it is no longer bi-level, but that's the only reason. New and bigger and more and built in TVs all around the room. Eleven tables, which is about what the old room had. Obviously they now have new, modern tables, meaning built in cup holders, and all new chairs. Oh, and all the old employees ARE back.
