Much better than i expected

I know that the room is not a "room" as such more a roped off area but this really appealed to me in many ways, for 1 i dont mind the noise i think it adds to the ambience and i enjoyed it. You also get more traffic in the form of railbirds which gets more players playing. All in all my favourite place to play in my time in Vegas.

I stayed at planet hollywood with the g/f so i spent most my poker playing time playing here and i found the level of player very decent. I play cash mostly but play the odd tourney and although i had a decent profit at the end of my stay i didnt come across that many fish.

I couldnt fault the dealers at all in my whole time playing and i racked up MANY hours on the cash tables! They all were very efficient and had good attitudes about their jobs. Knew when to have a joke, tell a story and just got the game flowing quickly and smoothly. My personal faves in all the rooms i played in Vegas during my stay.

Once again as with the dealers couldnt fault them. Im not in the majority that DONT drink alcohol while playing poker. I play for enjoyment and i like a drink while i play, maybe its the Scotsman in me lol. These ladies actually got to know my drink without even asking me and they brought them QUICK! Unlike the Venetian when i had to wait almost 20 mins for my 1st Corona!

Although they dont have the technical capabilities available to them like other rooms do i didnt have to wait any longer than 5 mins to they found me a seat at the 1/2 no limit. They also got a 2/5 game set up and going for us players who wanted while we were playing. Friendly, polite and above all good management all-round.

Ive marked the comps as average as although i was staying in the hotel i didnt get any comps for playing cash at all. If you play in the tourney you get an extra 500 chips with your players card. I also hit quads with my pocket pair of 5's and only got $50 so not great but i think thats pretty average for Vegas.

"Room"

The PH Poker room should be renamed a Poker Area instead. Poker at PH can be found in a roped off area of the casino... Read More
