Wonder if it will be there next time

Located in a roped off area near the front entrance. Average furnishings. Games don't seem to start until about 3 pm when the double hours for weekly freeroll qualification begins. Only one or two tables of 1/2 running. The casino seems dead and it made me wonder how long the Riv will still be around...

Nitty regulars trying to get their weekly freeroll hours logged in. Maybe a couple of guests, but it seems like they play there when they first arrive until they find better rooms.

Nothing unsual.

Normal Service

Christine is great at working with what she has. Accommodated us by making a complimentary Mickey D's run for the players.

Weekly $2500 freeroll after 15 hours (or 25 for more chips). Double credit for hours 3pm to 7 pm (and I think 4am to 10 am). The freeroll had about 23 entrants and 10 would get paid $250 (unless a chop is agreed upon). Good deal if you can grind out the hours. Some kind of football squares promotion that seemed kind of hokey (should be simpler). If you're staying at that end of the strip and don't want to travel much, you might find good value in logging in freeroll qualifying hours in the Riv and across the street at Circus Circus (CC has 3K weekly FR).
