Better than many

What's not to like? Conveniently located next to the sports book. Restrooms close by. Nice tables with comfortable, adjustable chairs. Quality lighting. Only complaint was the chips... my hands were sticky and blue from the dye bleeding off them. Overall, just shy of "excellent" in this category.

$3-6 limit: mix of older men and women, mostly in their 60's. A couple younger conventioneers thrown in. Most seemed to know what they were doing, but nobody was getting out of line with aggression. One old timer tilted off his stack (sounds like a daily thing with him), and another noob luck-boxed his way into filling a rack in an hour. This is a pretty low-pressure place to kill a few hours playing limit.

AVP tournament: the saddest bunch of donkeys and miscreants I've ever sat with...starting with myself.

Solid & professional. Extra kudos for their effort dealing the AVP tourney. They had their hands full dealing unfamiliar games, and did an excellent job of it.

Mixed review here, thanks to one surly waitress. When I ordered a pina colada, I could have sworn that she seemed put out by it. An hour later when I ordered the same thing, I clearly saw her mutter "$@" under her breath as she wrote it down. Listen honey, you're not remotely hot enough to be getting away with any kind of attitude. Is the lever on the slushy machine that difficult to pull?

Otherwise, the girls were pleasant, attractive, and fairly prompt. Pina coladas were good, and bonus points for letting me know that Patron was an option when I asked for tequila.

Much better than a year ago. I'm glad they moved everything to the front desk, where there were always a couple people working. Players were seated quickly. Good job running the tourneys. I'll refrain from marking down for the one girl who threw a minor hissy fit in front of customers when another manager seated a batch of players without her knowledge. Everyone has their bad moments, but next time, not in front of the customers. This is too classy of a joint for that.

I clocked in and out several times over the weekend. When I asked for my balance, they told me I never clocked out Friday and had no record of two sessions on Saturday and Monday. Not a huge deal to me, as I usually never get around to redeeming my points.
