Love the Mirage!

Inviting, warm and friendly with great dealers and a great atmosphere. This room is special because it is a more intimate room with lower ceilings and close to the railbirds. Whether you want 3-6, 10-20, NL, SNG or tournaments...the Mirage has them all. I especially like the $70 SNGs paying $420 and $180 which are offered from noon til 4AM or so as demand warrants. Never have had to wait very long at all before I was seated and chips run over to me. Warm and outstanding experience--right for new and experienced players alike.

With most 3-6 games I saw 5-6 to the flop and several going to the river. Yes, there are a few rocks during the morning and afternoon, but you can identify them and avoid their action. Bets news is the number of new players as tourists and conventioners--coming in from watching TV poker. Good games for sure.

Having played extensively all over LV, I find these dealers experienced and very friendly. They help the newbies and chat with the old timers. Great group of dealers.

I had excellent and rapid cocktail service since their setup area is just next to the men's room around the corner which makes for a quick trip. Great waitstaff anxious to please--and serving Red Bull helps make it even better.

Everyone says the same thing--the Mirage management is excellent. From the desk personnel who move one into a game to the chip runners and to the floor people, all are well trained and decisive when needed. They also control the occasionally unruly patron. Tournaments and SNGs are very well run. I visit every April and October and the Mirage is high on my list.

Reasonable poker room rate, but it can jump when something is happening at the hotel. My $99/$119 rate was $149/$149 because of a slot tournament, but the rooms are just fine and the location cannot be beat. Love the Mirage!
